Built Around Technology
Our applications use real smartphone capabilities, including available sensors and software-driven features, to create interactive experimental experiences.
About the studio
Built for
the Curious.
Strange Signal Studios is an independent app development studio exploring the space between technology, curiosity, and the unexplained.
We create experimental smartphone applications that give curious minds new ways to observe their surroundings, explore unusual questions, and approach the unknown.
Our mission
Curiosity Drives
Everything.
Some of the most interesting questions don't have easy answers.
At Strange Signal Studios, we believe technology can offer new ways to explore those questions. Our goal is to create accessible, engaging applications that encourage observation, experimentation, and independent thinking.
We don't promise extraordinary discoveries. We build tools that invite people to investigate possibilities for themselves.
Our approach
Real Technology. Open Questions.
Designed for Exploration
We develop tools for people interested in investigating their surroundings, asking questions, and discovering new perspectives.
Honest About the Unknown
We distinguish measurable activity from speculation. An unusual result may be interesting, but it isn't automatically evidence of an extraordinary explanation.
Where it begins
Every Signal
Starts Somewhere.
Signal Contact is our first application, bringing experimental environmental monitoring and interpretation tools together in an experience designed for curious investigators.
It's the beginning of what we hope will become a growing collection of creative, unconventional applications.
Explore Signal ContactThe Questions Are Endless.
Whether you're looking toward the night sky, exploring an unfamiliar place, or simply wondering what might be possible, curiosity is where every investigation begins.
Strange Signal Studios is here to build tools for that journey.
Curiosity is only the beginning.
